Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes and Alison Kruss were the two newest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss was born in July of 1971. Alison is a bluegrass and country singer. Her first job was in the music business from a young age. at the age of 10 years old, she took part in local contests, and then recorded her debut album. The year 1985 saw her signed with Rounder Records and in 1987 came out with her debut album. She was a part of the group who she still performs, Alison Krauss Union Station. The group released their debut album in 1989.
