Sofia Pernas grew in Orange County, California. Sofia Pernas is from Morocco Moroccan native - relocated to California in her early years and was five years old. The actress got her first big break acting when she graduated from University of California San Diego in the year 2015. Pernas was a popular actress who made small appearances in NCIS and Leverage prior to her debut in the role in the role of Marisa on The Young and the Restless and was an established face on the soap opera. After her exit from the soap-opera Jane the Virgin in 2016, the actress was cast as Catalina, a character who featured on the show often. She speaks four languages. She's since been seen as Catalina in The Brave with Hannah Rivera and also The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and the year 2020 Pernas was portrayed by Lexi Vaziri as part of Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly reported in May 2020, that Pernas was dating Justin Hartley from The Young and the Restless. The couple began dating shortly after the This Is Us star split with her wife Chrishell Stause November of 2019. News was reported the following month that Pernas and Hartley recently tied the knot with a private ceremony.
